Pavel Sergeevich Lelyukh was born in Russia, grew up in the northeastern suburbs of Philadelphia, and transferred from Bucks County Community College to major in mechanical engineering. He is extremely  interested in everything from digital education to complex fluid dynamics, so much so that he has his own engineering philosophy which is called material efficiency, and it involves using the same material for multiple functions whether it is physical or educational material. These ideas started developing when he went to the semi-finals of the National Science Foundation's Community College Innovation Challenge with his idea the "The Wind Catcher Max," and there he got NSF sponsored business "startup" training and learned that he should get all his ideas and make them into one great idea. He also played on a 12-string guitar for his church's youth services, sang in youth choir, went on several missionary trips to Mexico, and volunteered at his highschool for "Campus Crusade for Christ!"
